You've given me hope for the future!

Now does that translate to better crops? I don't know, but humans will do whatever it takes to adapt, so we really need to stop with the climate scaremongering.
More people, low wages, no taxes, no infrastructure for said people.
So very relevant, no?

It's sad that people don't see what's so obviously happening in the uk. Censorship is alive and well in the uk, and there are plans afoot to further the control of the online world.
* total guess
LXC does provide a security boundary, more than Docker but less than a full blown VM.
Talking to a machine has the same effect on me.
2. We need to choose the cheapest energy option at the time. If renewables are cheaper then great, but making the poor even poorer to make is rich people feel better is not a good solution.
3. The consequences of making the world poorer is more people will die from climate related disasters.
Brave browser is a thing by the way.
"Annual climate-disaster deaths averaged around 77,000 per year in the 1960s–70s, dropped to about 33,000/year in the 1980s–90s, and fell further to roughly 27,000/year in 2000–2019 even as the number of recorded climate disasters rose from about 1,171 to 3,656 to 6,641 across those same periods."
If you're optimising for human life, then "drill baby drill", as more energy = more wealth. More wealth = better infrastructure, health care, dealing with extreme weather conditions.
I've been writing code for nearly 30 years, and I'm done.
For a robot to be in my house it would have to run locally, there's no way I'm allowing one that runs in the cloud to operate my washing machine for example.
I mean, there's a perfectly good solution for many of the security issues mentioned in the article... But it is dismissed because the author just doesn't "want to"?
By the way, LXC is probably better suited for reproducible build/development environments, over Docker.
Yes - it fixed the attribution of our problems. Politicians, leaders, judges, etc will find it harder to "blame the EU" - when then blame is squarely on them.
This will then have an effect during voting.
My experience with Steam is very similar (I don't have it run on startup because I like my PC to do other things from playing games).
Online updates really have ruined gaming for a lot of people.
Just like vinyl, humans seem to prefer a physical "thing" they pick up - put in the machine - and instantly have access to the "thing". It's simple, predictable, fixable (generally) and swapable. The digital revolution is not what we had hoped for...
Always best to double check the routing suggestion.
If you hunt in the settings you can restrict your account to only use EU servers for inference... Which means you can't use a lot of the US frontier models, but you can use all the Chinese ones, albeit within EU GDPR, etc.
This to me is a good compromise between privacy and cost.
