+1 same. If this was a generic screen recording software I’d have skipped it.

I was thinking the same, lol
Flam··on React with Vite and TypeScript and its common challenges
> While it is a good solution, it includes a Node.js component that implements Server-Side Rendering. SSR pre-renders pages on the server before sending them to the client. If you want to avoid that and create applications similar to the ones built with the Create React App, another alternative exists.

You can use Next without SSR

Flam··on Advice on Creating a JavaScript Framework to End the Madness
There isn’t enough in here to judge the idea fairly. At a glance I see two ideas: - a ui kit/design system wrapper so you can swap between any of them. - a different approach to laying out html elements that seems closer to canvas than html.

Personally, I don’t know if these are the main problems that need to be solved. That said, it’s all a learning experience!

Flam··on Pixelating Live with SVG
Maybe screenshot + canvas with pointer-events none to fake live. Since it would be a perfect overlay no one should be able to tell the difference
Flam··on Lowstorage: JSON-based database for Cloudflare Workers and R2 buckets
Is there a design reason why the example does “new lowstorage” on each hono endpoint?
Flam··on AI Art Generators Can Be Fooled into Making NSFW Images
Alternatively, would you rather a world with 80% functionality safely, or a world with 100% functionality with people you don’t trust doing malicious things?

An accurate recreation of the mmorpg final fantasy 11 when it first released - emulation software (https://github.com/AirSkyBoat/AirSkyBoat) and the upcoming private server horizonxi.

Flam··on Show HN: Drop-In Chat – Chatify your app
This is a common mistake tons of developers do.

Pro-tip: Escape all user input either when it's going into the system or when it's going back out to be displayed!

Flam··on Riot breaks out at Foxconn's Taiyuan plant
How easy it would be to fly in, secretly meet with dozens of these employees, tell them to spread the word that if they riot they will each get a sum of money, and watch the bad publicity grow.
Flam··on Updated iOS 6 devices don't connect to WIFI
Probably because the guy who was forced to code it knew the whole idea was stupid.
Flam··on Facebook and Google launch lobbying group, The Internet Association
While this does seem like a generally great initiative and idea, I can't help but feel like WW3 or WW4 will be fought between tech companies. Hopefully this is much less prediction and more science fiction plot.
Flam··on Things I, as a designer, wish more tech startups knew
I'm a UX designer and I do both code and design.

You must know both to be a real UX designer. That's the person you want, and yes we're expensive. We may not be the best at either one, but our ability to bridge the gap between the two gives us a unique perspective that allows us to make experience improvements.

Flam··on Wristwatch in only HTML/CSS
Maybe I misunderstood but isn't it right there on line 222?
Flam··on Wristwatch in only HTML/CSS
I added the JS much after the fact that I posted this here due to popular demand to make it accurate.

Remove the JS and it remains functional, as in the first version.

Flam··on Wristwatch in only HTML/CSS
The javascript was added much later by popular demand to make the time accurate. Remove it and it remains functional.

I removed the image completely now courtesy of another commenter. Anyhow, wouldn't base64 be cheating? ;)
