recently i tried grok 4.6. and to me, it seems better than claude (opus). it follows the system prompt very accurately and remembers everything unlike claude (opus), it doesnt forget the system prompt during long conversations. but yes that depends on your purpose or approach to using AI

ErenayDevon Zig’s Io.Threaded is neat

Zig's compiler somehow feels lightweight to me compared to Rust's. When i develop something in Rust, the compiler and LSP is overheating my CPU. So im using Zig nowodays for long life my laptop.

When I had problems in my Zig codebase(latest version), the LLM cant resolve my problem. It kept giving me results based on older versions of the Zig code. This was due to breaking changes in every version. Thats why I no longer ask the LLM for help with Zig-related code. The folks on Zig Discord server and its forum, helps me very much.

instead of `std.io`, it should be `init.io`. `init` is first parameter in `main` function.

Seems like most of developers and humans vibecoding new projects with LLMs. But I can see they have problems in the codebase with AI generated code, or security breachs etc. Whats the limit of it? In other words, I'm curious about what the future holds.

Personal thoughts: I think Zig will become more stable once 1.0 tag released. Currently I cant find a fix to my error in net. But the folks on Zig Discord server helping me out.

I dont think they need to optimize their infrastructure (at least not from their perspective). They have high-end PCs with 64GB of RAM, so 1GB doesn't matter to them. For example, I have 8GB of RAM, and I make my apps very performant. Honestly, I probably wouldn't bother if I had 16GB+ of RAM

I was made (2 months ago) a script that finds bugs in a github repo. I tested it with claude opus 4.1 and without reasoning and it resulted with high hallucinations. e.g. : "current latest next.js version is v15. v16 doesnt shipped yet. this project fails". i added context7 mcp but hallucaniton rate decreased only a small bit. if anyone wants to test it with other models, here is the link:
