Emproon IPhone hacked by Exploiting Safari in iOS 5, iOS 6

It affects the iPhone 5, which is coming out tomorrow, not to mention all the other iDevices that can run iOS 6. I'm sure Apple will have it patched soon enough.

It's not limited to NFC (email or website can be used as attack vectors), but the researchers apparently decided to show off the NFC method as it's a relatively new medium for malware (though of course not a very practical one).

I don't think this has anything to do with Apple killing Google Maps. In that case, Apple could build an alternative relatively easily (acquisition and so on). In this case, noone has an alternative to YouTube. If this is Apple sticking it to Google again, I'll be very surprised.

"Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store."
