Seeing what it would cost to replace the things directly extracted from India today would be extremely interesting, actually. Price of cotton * quantity, etc.
At some distance in time, returns on capital are no longer adequately approximated by "x%APR". I think this distance in time is at most around 150 years, and even then only in the USA. In most of the world, it's far less than that.
7% APR for 300 years is a 650,000,000x return.
Obviously it blows fossil fuels out of the water, but hydroelectric also uses huge amounts of concrete, and IIRC the energy return on investment (MWh you get out per MWh it takes to construct) for solar and wind is quite poor and so I'd expect that to take a while to pay off too.
I'm not sure the one that says this is the worst option here: (22-34)
Do not give way to anger. Do not nurse a grudge. Do not entertain deceit in your heart. Do not give a false peace. Do not forsake charity. Do not swear, for fear of perjuring yourself. Utter only truth from heart and mouth. Do not return evil for evil. Do no wrong to anyone, and bear patiently wrongs done to yourself. Love your enemies. Do not curse those who curse you, but rather bless them. Bear persecution for justice's sake. Be not proud.
Sounds like the owner was right to say "go fuck yourself" then.
Could you not also say this of Facebook, Whatsapp, YouTube and more?
...when they're made by people with the wrong opinions or politics. Attackers from the left seem to get the benefit of the doubt.
The number of dies you need for each page is different than the number of types of dies you need to print any arbitrary page.
If there's a character for 'war', how many copies do you need? It'll change greatly depending on the subject matter, of course. But how many 'w's, 'a's and 'r's per page won't change to nearly the same extent.
China's warheads are also generally higher yield - they're intended for counter-city ops, not counter-force.
The idea with the currently deployed warheads is that even after losses to a hostile first strike, they can still respond and cause unacceptable losses in the enemy. How many nukes does it take to cause 10% fatalities in the USSR? How many in China? And what percentage of those nukes are destroyed before launch, and how many make it though enemy defences to detonate where they should?
And of course, nukes decay.
And just about everyone thinks they're the oppressed ones, and includes it in their messaging. Including literally Hitler. (His being thrown in jail is arguably the best thing that could have happened to the Nazis in the mid 20s IIRC)
It was still in the library.
The Anarchists Cookbook used to be found in libraries. I'd hope it still is, along with books on energetic backyard chemistry. Not a 100% match, but in the ballpark.
> photo books portraying motorcycle crash victims or war casualties?
Not sure about motorcycles, but I'm sure you can find war casualties. Napalm girl https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phan_Thi_Kim_Phuc at the very least.
> Hard core rape pornography?
Libraries do not typically carry porn. In fact, that's part of what the detractors would say this is about - that the pro-trans books sometimes contain pornographic images. (Of course, no one cares about 50 Shades or bodice rippers...)
If so, being able to point to things like that would (IMO) be a good political tool in situations like this. "We're neutral and carry both sides" goes over better than "we carry books with the correct opinions, how dare you ask us to remove them" - and the best response to bad speech is more speech anyways.
That is what a strong currency does.

You've got the chronology here backwards IIRC - Bulbapedia exists because Wikipedia got rid of "non-notable" Pokemon.
