DreamScatter··on Piano teacher gets copyright claim for Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata [video]

You haven't named any lossy stream codecs that do restore white noise, so i will not consider you a reliable source of info.

DreamScatter··on Piano teacher gets copyright claim for Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata [video]

It's not reasonable to screw innocent people over.

DreamScatter··on Piano teacher gets copyright claim for Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata [video]

no, the mp3 codec actually deletes humanly inaudible portions of the frequency spectrum to reduce storage, this data isn't recoverd or replaced or referred when played back again, it's lost information. what is removed is based on human perception limits for audio

DreamScatter··on My experience with sexual harassment in the Scala community

Women are extremely competitive and they are not more compassionate than men.

DreamScatter··on My experience with sexual harassment in the Scala community

Women are not more compassionate than men, that's false. Women have an instinct to take care of children (as do men), but this does not extend to society at large.

DreamScatter··on My experience with sexual harassment in the Scala community

Maybe it didn't happen then?

DreamScatter··on My advanced math skills are going down the drain

As a capitalistic transaction, it doesn't make sense to me. I would not trust a person who capitalizes on other people's mental health issues. Also, i can't imagine getting any sort of value out of it.

Theoretically another person in my life would be good, but in practice i prefer being alone with my math books.

DreamScatter··on My advanced math skills are going down the drain

Fair enough, that sounds solid, ignore people and do stuff ...

DreamScatter··on Talented People Frequently Don’t Rise to the Top

Obviously, the viewers of YouTube cannot taste the food being prepared on video, so the content will not be judged by the quality of the food but rather by how engaging the video is to an audience.

DreamScatter··on An open letter in support of RMS being reinstated by the FSF

You should go ahead and start your own movement then, be a leader instead of an asshole who tears other people down.

DreamScatter··on An open letter in support of RMS being reinstated by the FSF
