Hi. I was a reading teacher in the South and West sides of Chicago for nine years. Now I am an Internet publisher and coder. Obviously, I specialize in educational content.

Donzo··on Google dedicates engineering team to accelerate development of WordPress
What is insecure about WordPress?

If you minimize your reliance on plugins, enable automatic updates, and harden your installation, it's pretty secure. At least I haven't had issues.

Anything can be insecure if it's misconfigured, not just WordPress.

Is this class implemented in Solidity?
Donzo··on Raiblocks is rebranding to Nano
I think that the rebrand better expresses the product mission.
Donzo··on Tarsnap Support for Bitcoin Ending April First
The proposition is that free, instant transfers are so awesome that people will voluntarily run nodes.

I like Raiblocks. It really functions the way that people want Bitcoin to function (free, instant, complete [no dust] transfers).

You are very interested in defining things.

This is a case where imagination is needed.

Slippery slope: I can trust the court if I don't have to trust the data. I can't trust the court if I have to subjectively prove my arguments.

It's hard to imagine a solution to these problems because we are so far away from highly functional examples of this tech in action in the "real" world.

That said, engineers live to solve problems in better, smarter ways.

I personally believe it is naive to bet against innovation in this sphere, but we both shall see if we are so fortunate.

Finally! He can melt all the ice-cream and destroy his customer.

No, Bob's misconduct would potentially be provable in court based on the trustless data ledgers in the blockchain.

Really, this example just shows one way how developers could use blockchain technology to develop applications that utilize trustless data.

Imagine this same technology applied to the transfer of human organs, rather than easily replaceable ice cream.

Challenge yourself to think of other scenarios in business where trustless data might make a difference.

Maybe you'll have a valuable idea in this wide open space.

All of the censors vote on if they have been tampered with. They will leave a record of their votes on the blockchain as Bob tampers with them in real time.

Another thing that you can do is use Apache virtual hosts and send all traffic that connects to the IP to an empty page.
Donzo··on Ethereum programming for web developers
Yes, the comment is premised on the future representation of assets in the blockchain.

If the tickets were on the blockchain, they could be exchanged in the way that you describe.

Donzo··on Bitcoin and Ethereum tumble after renewed fears of regulatory crackdown
Not only that, but there is a robust set of public data unlike any before.
Donzo··on But what about blockchain apps?
Yeah, yeah, we'll write all that stuff in the fine print.
Donzo··on But what about blockchain apps?
We could literally set up a company that does this for rich people right now and charge them a percentage of their estate. Some people are so untrusting that they would pay a percentage of the estate for such a service. Not to mention the tax advantages!

Now, the high volatility of crypto is an impediment to this model, but after the blood bath (possibly starting today), values will hopefully stabilize a bit and make the values a little more stable and predictable.

Donzo··on But what about blockchain apps?
Everytime you park the crypto in fiat, you face tax burderns.

The Etherium Network imposes no such burdens.

Donzo··on But what about blockchain apps?
Rich people just don't know that Ethereum does this, that it's built into it.

Everyone (Main Street) just thinks it's a crypto currency right now.

What about TRUSTLESS gambling?

Hmm...

Maybe there'd be a market for that?

Donzo··on But what about blockchain apps?
Do you really believe that there's not going to be a market for TRUSTLESS wills?

For tax-free, trustless estate transfers?

Donzo··on Is Legal Pot Crippling Mexican Drug Trafficking Organisations?
I upvoted you.
Donzo··on Is Legal Pot Crippling Mexican Drug Trafficking Organisations?
In all seriousness, I greatly appreciate corrections like this in a way that so few people do.
Donzo··on Is Legal Pot Crippling Mexican Drug Trafficking Organisations?
I must admit I only read the headline, but I'm sure the organizations are making due with the thin, tight-margins off black market cocaine, heroine, and methamphetamine sales.
Donzo··on Decentralized Blockchain-Based Electronic Marketplaces
No matter where the price points jump, in the next ten years a bunch of stuff is going to be running on Ethereum.

Go long. Bet on the tech, not the hype.

Donzo··on Decentralized Blockchain-Based Electronic Marketplaces
Perhaps, but perhaps I should explain.

I passed on Ether in 2014. It’s been hard to come to terms with that decision.

But I finally decided not to double down on stupid. I’m going to beat some of these finance guys into this space. This is because I am a techie and I know that Ethereum is the truth. They are not so they are still jumping at fraud attempts built on the Ethereum network.

Donzo··on Decentralized Blockchain-Based Electronic Marketplaces
Your idea got me thinking. Maybe we could clone other open source software. Do you think we could get away with it?
Donzo··on Decentralized Blockchain-Based Electronic Marketplaces
Dang, you hit that straw man hard. Easy.
Donzo··on Decentralized Blockchain-Based Electronic Marketplaces
Yup. Then you'll have a clone of the real deal.
Donzo··on Decentralized Blockchain-Based Electronic Marketplaces
Because of the value that the platform offers the world.
Donzo··on Algorithm That Makes Preschoolers Obsessed with YouTube
Yeah, but how many surprise egg videos does the average parent want to watch?

The videos that most children like are of a very poor quality at which most adults would cringe.

I've tried to redirect my children toward more high-quality children's programming. You know, stuff with scripts and budgets. Nonetheless, they want these toy porn videos produced by these toddler whisperers.

As the article begins, children crave autonomy. YouTube Kids gives it to them. It's an amazing application. I have a Google Music subscription, so my kids get to watch these videos ad-free. It's a pretty good experience for everyone.

Donzo··on Kazakhstan built a futuristic city to host Expo 2017, but attendance is low
It's sort of like what Facebook did to class reunions.
Donzo··on Nintendo to Double Production of Switch Console
The retro NES console that Nintendo released in November still cannot be bought in stores. Around the holidays, it was impossible to buy the DS, a system that is around 7 years old.

Nintendo is a billion dollar company. They've been around a long time. They could produce adequate supply if they wanted. It's seems pretty clear that they are not interested in satiating demand.

This is because if they answer to anyone, it's the US Gov that is structured by the Constitution.

They have no issue with commiting those attrocities in foreign lands, in which Constitutional protections and rules do not apply to them.
