Dolores12··on Statement on US government directive to suspend access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5
the reason the US Government suspended access to Fable is that Anthropic doesn't have the compute to handle the load. They don't want bad PR before their IPO. I bet after Fable 5 switches to API pricing what ultimately decrease usage, the government will cancel that directive. (yai yai, good PR)

so basically they know requests using your API key should be treated with care?
Dolores12··on Stop selling “unlimited”, when you mean “until we change our minds”
you call them "power users", i call them abusers. Nice move anthropic, good for everyone.

Next step would be to meditate on root cause of the condition. Whatever it is, your body/brain knows.
Dolores12··on How I overcame my addiction to sugar
With every fruit you get healthy dose of fiber that helps digestive system to push residuals out. 3 bananas that will make you full equals 2 cans of 330ml cola and i bet you still will want to eat after that.
Dolores12··on How I overcame my addiction to sugar
After not eating sweet food for some time, i noticed usual food like milk becomes sweet. And mango is just not palatable. Too much sugar, for no benefit.

Quality and advanced content. Not sure why it was flagged, tools and methods used to reverse-engineer obfuscated javascript help fight fingerprinting/malware. Keep going, looking forward for other parts of the series.

Dolores12··on Tell HN: YouTube is banning accounts that support Ukraine
Probably what happens is that people are being reported for saying something in chat that others don't like. X reports and your account is terminated automatically.
Dolores12··on Russian forces invade Ukraine after Putin orders attack
Well, that's the point. Ukraine never behave well, and its master seems to ignore numerous warnings and refuses to listen. Go file a report now.

ps: the good thing the master is safe and fine. he will adopt another one just to annoy the neighbor again.

Dolores12··on Russian forces invade Ukraine after Putin orders attack
> Tell me, when has NATO threatened to place nuclear missiles in Ukraine?

I never said it has to be nuclear missiles. Tomahawks will do for 800km range. And that's a threat for national security.

>I'm willing to admit Putin may have convinced himself and some Russians that there's a national security concern, but the evidence is severely lacking.

If your neighbor says your dog is a concern, you better listen to your neighbor and do not adopt 10 more.

Dolores12··on Russian forces invade Ukraine after Putin orders attack
> Is Russia just suicidal?

Russia has no other choice. When USSR in 1962 [0] did something similar to USA, USA was not happy and it could end up really bad. How is this situation is different? National security is paramount.

Dolores12··on Protasevich Street? Bucharest mulls changing address of Belarusian embassy
Wow, little bit easier. Shoot down the plane? Murder a political opponent? I won't really comment that nonsense.

As for Evo Moralez incident, the head of the State and its stuff has diplomatic immunity. Even if the plane is packed with snowdens and assanges you can NOT touch it.

Dolores12··on Kaspersky believes it found new CIA malware
Your comment makes no sense. If it were russian malware it would be outed by counterparts in a second. Still ZERO evidence, just FUD. I would also prefer to have FSB malware, just because their power is limited.
Dolores12··on Kaspersky believes it found new CIA malware
Now compare it to how fast US intelligence analysts are. They may conclude who is behind attack in a matter of days. (For example, recent solarwinds attack)
Dolores12··on Ransomware gang threatens to expose police informants if ransom is not paid
They distinguish between humans and enterprises. They may not want to scam people, because it may ruin their karma, but there is nothing wrong to mess with companies, after all it's just a cost of doing business for them. And if you look even deeper we always had such parasitic criminal enterprises that use IP laws to ransom others.
