DEDLINE··on Getting a Computer Science PhD in the USA
I really appreciated your insights. Having seen my mother barely make it out of the PH.D. politics arena alive, your sentiment is spot on. Thank you for sharing.
DEDLINE··on How to Raise Investment
Most comprehensive article I have read on fundraising at the Seed / Series-A level. Well done and thank you for your contribution.

DEDLINE··on How to Build a Great Series A Pitch and Deck
This was very well written. Noting the expectations for 'hard tech' vs normal and breaking down the traction metrics discretely was huge for me. We've contemplated retaining an experienced "Outsourced CFO" to help us nail which metrics and models need to be conveyed in a pitch deck but this article shores up so many of the questions that we've had. I'm now fairly confident that I can carry on with QuickBooks and Excel in churning a deck like this out in-house.

Thank you!

DEDLINE··on YOLOv5: State-of-the-art object detection at 140 FPS
Ubicoustics [1] would be the closest example to what I am looking for in a FOSS / Commercial offering. Is anyone working on this?

DEDLINE··on YOLOv5: State-of-the-art object detection at 140 FPS
Does anyone know of an open-source equivalent to YOLOv5 in the sound recognition / classification domain? Paid?
DEDLINE··on How I Made $200k When I Was 16 Years Old Through Coding (2018)
Reading this article + accompanying comments has me reminiscing on how awesome the Runescape community was back in the day. Scripting for SCAR, Moderating on Sythe.org (screen name Puto & Heist if anyone's out there) and trafficking massive amounts of internet goods via PayPal bring back some of my fondest memories on the internet.

I credit a good portion of my career success today to Runescape-centric experiences in CS, Business and Community Politics.

Thank you Andrew Gower + JaGeX team for creating a game much larger than itself.

DEDLINE··on Amazon’s own ‘Machine Learning University’ now available to all developers
I loved AMZN's cloud certifications. Not a Data Scientist / ML Developer, nor am I trying to be, but I love sitting for these exams as I believe the amount of study gives you enough credibility to have thoughtful conversations with specialists.

Looking forward to reading sentiment to see if the curriculum is industry relevant and worthwhile!
