The copyright problem isn't just on Google's end - copyright complaints should be required to be human generated as well. Otherwise anyone can be de-platformed/DDOS someone with bogus automated copyright complaints.

This issue is not specific to Youtube but to all platforms where users can post. I don't see how Facebook or Twitter or Reddit can hire enough people to review their communities.

Personally, I am less concerned with the cable than I am for the power socket on the laptop, which if damaged could require replacing the whole motherboard.

That's correct. I am currently considering upgrading from my 13" 2013 Macbook Air to a 15" 2019 Macbook Pro (I want it for the IPS/bigger display) and I noticed this while I was testing it at Bestbuy.

Personally, if I make the purchase, I will probably just remap the Caps Lock key to ESC - assuming I can remove ESC from the Touch Bar.

The one thing I didn't care for is that the Touch Bar display can time out. I would personally prefer that it stay on - or at least have the option of it staying on.

In my opinion one should be seeking to hire the best person for the job every single time regardless of the person's race or gender. But I also believe that considering diversity needs is fair when tie-breaking between equally qualified candidates.

I agree with this. My personal opinion is that advanced scripting languages, outside of shells, shouldn't be installed by default.

I like Apple's current lineup but I do think they have lost a certain segment of users: people who don't care about appearance or thinness and just want a modestly priced, upgradeable box.

I am a paid Spotify subscriber but I am not buying their arguments about Apple. Still, they are complaining to the EU, where some pretty brain-dead tech decisions have been made lately.
