Highlight the positives, hide the negatives.
Other than that, the design looks a lot more appealing than the all clear cases they have with most of their other versions. It is a good mid-ground between beige bland and LED madness.
I suspect we might see a 3rd revision of the Apple Vision but I'm not sure there will be a 4th unless there is a significant change to the overall product.
As many said when it first came out, it is brilliant technology but it has struggled to find an question for it to answer.
I have said this about Monk's, yes you do give up a lot of worldly attachments to take on that role, but at the same time you also gain an additional identity. That of the robes and the role. This is not to say "They are just putting it on!", it is to say that they haven't escaped the trap entirely.
Maybe 'The Dude' in The Big Leboski is far closer to those that are content than we would like to believe.
I have stuck with distros that are not trying to chase the latest trends but keep a ethical high ground.

Unfortunately, looking at the last few years, one can see which way the wind is blowing. The world is preparing for war. A more tribal, isolationist and smaller world.

I end up on Android simply because of file drag and drop and an open App ecosystem which they are now trying to lock down.
It felt like once they dropped mobile, their whole direction become misguided. Also UWP made sense when there was also a mobile/tablet side to it, could even deploy those apps to the Xbox and it kind of worked. But then they kicked out that supporting support and suddenly they got working on trashing what good Windows still had.
This is the kind of nonsense we have been putting up with for years.
But then they just started dumping everything onto it and it eventually crumbled under the weight.
He was arguing that Windows is well past its best years and that OSX is now starting on the downward slope and that is why he was moving to Linux. It was a interesting take on the whole thing about the life times of OS quality.
But with a new CEO for Apple, they have an opportunity to turn things around and blame it all on Tim Cook, but only time will tell if they do that.
Also what if that complaint comes back in the form of a Nuke as they see it as an act of war?
When things become existential, a lot of things that seems unlikely end up on the table as moral corruption sets in. "Either they go or we do!"
While it might be low by western standards, it is probably still very high by global averages. For instance it is estimated that roughly 80% of people have never flowing in a plane, and that 10% of the remaining have never flown more than once. Flown 4 times last year puts you right near the top.
This isn't saying "You are a terrible person!", it is saying that we all have a habit of normalizing the world around us even if it is wildy unsustainable.
And even then, the planet doesn't care about were you sit in terms of other people, it just cares about your impacts.
Statistically, the homeless in my country (Australia) have a carbon foot print 3 times greater than the average African. What looks horrible here, resource wise, is far ahead of many in this world.
Also the multi-decade latency means it move slow enough that many can ignore it but it move quick enough that unaddressed it causes major issues.
It isn't because people are malicious, it is that people tend to normalize the conditions they are raised in even if they are wildly exceptional.
While each action is tiny, collectively they add up.
