Nice game
Carl_Platt··on Ask HN: Are there any openly available software architecture documents?
Do you have a specific link one can start digging through?
Carl_Platt··on Ask HN: What is your 10 year plan?
Long lost sibling, is that you? =) I am from the DRC living in SA and have been thinking of ways to build training and work facilities back home for youngsters! Been contemplating how to use a TopCoder type model, idk.

Carl_Platt··on What the hell happened to Darius Miles?
What does anything have to do with anything?
Carl_Platt··on Looking Glass, a revolutionary window manager revealed in 2006
Yeah, awesome stuff - I used some of Anand's ideas in my own research at the time.
Carl_Platt··on Ask HN: My house might burn down in the next 24 hours. Suggestions?
This is true. A friends parents house burned to the ground. At their advanced age, the only thing they complained about were all the sentimental items they lost. You can always buy a new camera, but man, those wedding pictures and ornaments aren't quite as replaceable.
Carl_Platt··on Ask HN: Those making over $1K/month on side projects, what did you make?
How do you make revenue?
Carl_Platt··on Ask HN: Alternatives to HN less web-focused and more technical/professional?
could I get an invite plz?
Carl_Platt··on What was your best passive income in 2014?
This is an excellent post, I am looking to setup streams of passive income mostly for savings and to allow me to travel. Just never sure which itch to scratch :/
Carl_Platt··on Ask HN: Are you working on any side projects that make "small/passive" income?
Most innovation happens this way. Get some existing idea, develop on it and market/sell it off as a better alternative. Seems simple. If only.
