Anything but expanding copyright laws. Tbh, a pay per citation with an opt in database to add your info (think music streaming style monetization) would be reasonable to me. Not that I think it's a good scheme for music but I think it's fitting for web crawling. Though it does inevitably lead to enshitification. Pick your poison I guess.
This inaccuracy to revision cycle has been consistent for as long as I can remember. Everyone whose job it is to look at these numbers should understand that the initial numbers are typically overestimated.
Copyright law is a censorship program. It may not have been the intent presented when it was made but more and more it is used to suppress the speech of those who can't afford the legal battle. This is amplified by enforcement around it taking a guilty until proven innocent style since platforms that host speech are held liable for not taking immediate action.
There is more to a project this massive than its choice of language. For me though it's mostly about breaking from the monopoly and putting a check on Google's influence over browser space.
Doesn't this conveniently leave out that settlers being initially nonviolent is still illegal and meeting armed resistance should have been/is expected when you do a crime like this?
It's generally not a good sign to me that this is the case. But I think you're right. Something needs to change to make startups feel more viable again.
Some do this, some go on binge fast cycles. Others just eat the food. It's different for everyone. Binge fast cycles are probably the easiest way to train this though.
This factory was built as a part of the CHIPS act, so it's unrelated to him. If anything Trump escalating was probably pretty bad but his willingness to pivot is probably good. I know he shit talks about the chips act though which is definitely a mistake. Seems odd given his platform is about bringing manufacturing to the US.
That is certainly what they are lobbying for and I think I agree with the lobbyists for once. Huawei is shaping up to become a strong competitor if left at it and it's probably in the US's best interest to just let Nvidia and AMD sell to China to maintain the hardware monopoly for longer.
The current form of the system we practice is massively different from the one that put us so far ahead. We tried many things trying to push it to be more successful. This gap change is a result of some of that. We now need to evaluate whether that change was actually better. This gap may be short term worth it but with trends like quiet quitting, we probably should think about whether these changes will slowly cause larger long term losses in productivity at the lower ends of these hierarchies.
Weird choice of example when there are so many relevant examples happening right now. Even worse the US is currently suppressing speech and actions that protest foreign countries (and our support for them). Anti-BDS laws should surely be unconstitutional yet they stand. Detaining and deporting legal residents for their speech. Pulling unrelated funding from universities for not policing student speech. The US isn't particularly good about press freedom either.
And rereleased in a toned down manner. It still gladly encourages horrible life decisions if you ask it to help you with them. This is with no effort to coax it either.
What is the conspiracy here? Who is the perpetrator? Haaretz is Israeli owned and operated. The sources are Israeli soldiers and officers. The war is definitely real and gazans definitely died while receiving food aid.
Discriminating wealthy customers increases the risk profile of the loans which is already questionably high. Retailers are used to paying extra for credit card transactions anyways. BNPL really is just meant to compete with credit cards by splitting the runway across more months for the loan. Equally predatory business model but credit cards are able to offer the same interest amortization that you can do with bnpl through the rewards programs. They're effectively the same.
Correction, they are able to output whether they are being evaluated when prompted. This is massively different than knowing if they are being evaluated.
Price controls, direct democracy, abolishing capital. I'm sure you can find places where these are supported but similarly you can find subreddits where far right ideology is supported. The average redditor looks at memes, askreddit threads, and whatever hobby subreddit exists for them.
I had been working on a type combo strength calculation and made my own rudimentary simulator in the process. If only I'd seen this project earlier lol. Not that I need this level of accuracy for my case.
The medium changes the way you interpret it. I think we'll see it similar to how 3d always looked cheap when people were figuring it out. Once studios learn to not suck at AI art, I think I and many others will be willing to buy. Slop is just the easiest thing to produce when everyone is still learning. My guess is we'll see more in-house models being produced that are fine tuned from in-house art that has the style the studio aims for and that will be used for rapid iteration on designs before the final product is then redrawn or edited by humans.
