I think they don't give a shit about 3D printing, especially in CA. It's not like you're competing with a glock19 type hand gun and cornering this market.
Youtube comments is a separate genre itself. Due to youtube moderation policy - music video comments are all the same, same tired jokes, patterns. Not an AI slop per se, but feels the same.
It's possible though - it was a bug, a model pool instance wasn't updated properly and served a very old model for several months; whoever hit this instance would received a response from a prev version of a model.
We can despise Musk as much as we want, but I leased a Tesla Model 3 for three years and it was the best car I've ever owned. I had zero issues, it was always charged, zero maintenance(other than topping off washer fluid), and for long trips, I usually rent a car anyway. I seriously considered buying a Model S once my lease ended, but thanks to Musk’s shenanigans, I’m waiting for a Rivian R2 or R3 instead.
And yes Teslas aren't for passengers but for drivers.
He doesn't know, but that quote makes for a cool talking point. Software is slow or bloated because of budget, deadlines, and skill levels - not because of a quote.
How will the grads pass an lc interview if they don't do classical programming (or do I misunderstand what it means)? But it also raises another questions - what is the future for leetcoding?
I had something similar (a lot of math and theoretical classes for the first two or three years), and I remember I was pissed off - I only wanted to write C programs! :D But 20 years later, I really appreciate my CS education. It has all paid off: calculus, statistics, probability theory, theory of computation, discrete math, data structures and algorithms, foundations of NNs, etc. Then later, foundational classes for compilers, OSes, multiprocessor programming, networking, distributed systems, and database theory - I've used it all during different stages of my career.
I noticied what previously would take 30 mins, now takes a week. For example we had a performance issue with a DB, previously I'd just create a GSI (global secondary index), now there is a 37 page document with explanation, mitigation, planning, steps, reviews, risks, deployment plan, obstacles and a bunch of comments, but sure it looks cool and very professional.
Don't do that if you're in the US. I was laid off and finally got two offers, both places ran a background check and had all the information - my previous title, precise start - end time, etc. I've talked to one hiring manager and he told me that they had a lot of offers revoked due to failing these background checks recently.
I sort of like these restrictions. You're making hard for me to access your site - I close it. You block it behind a paywall - I close it. You block it because of ublock - fine again, I close your site. I have only so much time and you're helping me.
