Alex-Galapagos··on Ask HN: Is Y Combinator's office empty?
Well, we're coming out of state for networking and wanted to check with YCombinator , maybe they can recommend an adviser.
Alex-Galapagos··on Ask HN: Is Y Combinator's office empty?
it was Monday
Alex-Galapagos··on Ask HN: How would you invest your money in 2014?

Alex-Galapagos··on Russian government calls for bids to hack Tor
As one of they guys on here (http://avmalgin.livejournal.com/4739669.html) noticed, it's funny that the government organization is using email for contact: prostis@yandex.ru . Yandex is a free service like Yahoo! in US. Let's put it this way, FSB has its own hacker group (called "Otdel K", you can read about it here: http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D3%EF%F0%E0%E2%EB%E5%ED%E8%E5_... Use Translator since there's no English version) and wouldn't need to publish this kind of ad publicly.
Alex-Galapagos··on Ask HN: How to split equity?
it all depends what is he contributing.. You said that you believe "he can contribute a lot in many areas that need to be covered in order to build a succesful app company", but what is it exactly? Who's coding the app? You've already done first app, if he's contributing to marketing of the first app then he can get less than 30% of profits from that app. If you've already built second one, the same thing. If he's building the second app with you and brings more skill you might consider splitting evenly just for the second app, you don't have to give away equity within the company, you can make an agreement to split profits just for the second app, since he can decide to leave.

Alex-Galapagos··on What to do after a patent is discovered?
You need to get a pattern attorney and ask. Basically if you word it differently and describe it differently then it's a different product
Alex-Galapagos··on NDA with contractors
Did you require state issued ID? I mean if you work with contractors remotely
Alex-Galapagos··on How do you name your applications?
I put a lot of effort naming mine.. Usually starts with what is behind the app's concept and then I play around with words
Alex-Galapagos··on 5 mos. development already paid for what would you do with it?
emailed you
Alex-Galapagos··on Ask HN: Our iPad game hit top 30 in free games, how do we keep the momentum?
bww, how did you get there initially? What app was it?
Alex-Galapagos··on Bitcoin: the Stripe perspective
Ripple is a rip-off. You buy a gift card and the money stays there..
Alex-Galapagos··on App data
Wanted to share this article since it shows most recent trends
Alex-Galapagos··on Be aware of phishing at airbnb
sorry to hear about it.. Thank you for letting us know
Alex-Galapagos··on I Don't Know Swift
We learned Swift right after it came out , then we realized that it's just not mature enough and stopped our project
Alex-Galapagos··on The Value of Acquisition
you can start with your true goals right away, in Elon's example he wouldn't be able to start building Spaceships without having billions on dollars in his pocket... If the true goal/passion requires less capital and you have it available then go for it right away
Alex-Galapagos··on Postmates earned 400% more on a delivery than the delivery guy
how do you know that he only got $5?Maybe part of $19 goes to him as well
Alex-Galapagos··on Ask HN: Should i quit?
do it while you're working..
Alex-Galapagos··on Ask HN: On how many side-projects you manage to work at the same time?
one
Alex-Galapagos··on The Value of Acquisition
It seems like Elon Musk did exactly what you just described.. He sold his first 2 startups and now he's real passionate about things he loves: physics and anything that has to do with it (space, cars etc) . Once there's unlimited resource it's easy to do things you want
Alex-Galapagos··on I Don't Know Swift
Swift isn't stable yet.. You can't do big projects in it.. We did some stuff in Swift..but it's not something that can be scaled as of right now
