It’s crazy to understand how far ahead someone can be of their time with a product or vision of the world.

Abtin88··on Unsecure gRPC Implementations Can Compromise APIs
The main problem is that bootstrapping the grpc server with correct TLS is always a barrier. so developers usually enable the InsecureOption to be able to test the grpc server, and after that they forgot to change the configurations for the production.

Productivity Startup| Senior Product Designer | REMOTE(US/EU)| Full-Time

Hey HN folks, we're looking for senior product designer to collaborate on a productivity project.

FYI our entire team is working remote and we’re planning to keep it forever .

We’re building the future of productivity software that makes it easier to capture and retrieve information, just like having an extension to your brain and help you find the right information that matters to you. You will work closely with my co-founder, an awesome product designer and PM that has investigated years of research on the product. We have many design challenges. We also have a kick ass engineering team that can turn whatever you imagine into realty in little time. We like “test to failure” approach and experiment with a lot of prototypes.

if you see yourself working on a cool product and build many prototypes, send me an email with your cv/portfolio.

Abtin88··on Tired of note-taking apps
I like to look at notes-taking as a broader way of capturing information you have seen. The value of keeping notes is to eventually make use of them. The tool should focus on serving this core workflow, not creating overhead.

We created a tool that tries to minimize the cognitive load for capturing things. We were inspired by messaging system and email to yourself, and build a tool for capturing infos on the go for ourself. We're testing it with small group. If you are interested and willing to write us feedbacks, drop me a line and I will invite you to the beta community.
