AIiscoming··on AI-generated posters don’t have to be horrible
No one cared about shitty posters before (and yes they are shitty) and no one cares about them now.

No one is praising or collecting them. We just accepted that shitty poster exist.

Now some few people complain about ai slop at situations were no one cares and no one cared /shrug

AIiscoming··on AI-generated posters don’t have to be horrible
They look absolutly well done.
AIiscoming··on Korea raises data breach fines to 10% of revenue
Lets be honest here, this is a business risk which is crazy high. As stupid as this is, I care but i can't guarantee it.

I might suggest a construct like this too.

What do you think how much it cost to do it perfect?

AIiscoming··on There's no point at which turning your brain off will work
Or not trying to actually finding a root cause. Look i increased the storage for customer, problem solved.

No? You solved the symptom not the issue?

AIiscoming··on There's no point at which turning your brain off will work
Thats not the problem of LLM/AI.

The problem is, that digital work, the new frontier of employment for a lot of epeople, got and will continue to get A LOT cheaper, faster and more accessable.

The PO who always complains about someone? They will just vibe stuff. It might even be shit but it will work good enough until LLMs/AI/AGI/ASI is good enough or better anyway than an avg developer.

Man i have seen so so much shitty code even in software companies.

You know when your HR software takes seconds to load? Yeah an LLM can do that today too

AIiscoming··on AI Protest in Montreal
Don't be so snarky, right now its actually true because they pump drinking water directly from the grounds and evaporating them into the air and therefore taking local water and putting it in some ciruclation which will not refill the local water...
AIiscoming··on AI Protest in Montreal
No pressure would make it even worse.

But lets be honest, we were put into specific spots, we can't just get out.

We were able to just take land and make it ours, if you get put on a planet were everything is owned, the critisism were your food and cloth is coming is not their fault.

Its not pointless. It might have less impact than it should, but its not pointless.

AIiscoming··on I vibed a proof of Conway's conjecture
Every human has to go through this in modern times.

I got quite frustrated and disappointed when taking pictures because everyone was doing it and my picture of x was similiar to others taking picture of x.

Either you learn from it and accept that and still do it, or you don't.

But its not new

AIiscoming··on I don't like passkeys
I wouldn't mind it if all the services stop working properly when you use a Passkey but still want to use your other stuff like password and 2fa through app...

GitHub breaks with this, PayPal breaks with this...

AIiscoming··on CCC invites all model citizens to 40C3
I do enjoy this tbh.

Driving to my family -> i know the route very well, its not much stress;

The travel to the congress is through ICE and i always kinda looking forward to these hours in the ICE too.

And weirdly enough, not that many people are on the road at that time. Its like everyone else is traveling before, then doing nothing after silvester.

AIiscoming··on Qwen 3.8 Omni Flash

AIiscoming··on Qwen 3.8 Omni Flash
Wtf?

No?

Its just that the richest companys with the most VC sit in USA and Europe isn't used to pay what USA / VC is paying and we are a little bit slow.

AIiscoming··on Everybody's Lost Their Minds
Sry not sure what you mean.

I only wanted to say that finding security issues was def bottlenecked by humans.

AIiscoming··on André Weil and the Hodge Conjecture
Might be a lot faster than you think.

I'm wondering though when we as a society / all the normal money flowing into universicites and research start to recupe and invest AI resources more deliberate.

Like are we working with ai on superconductors (easiest example i have, i don't know enough math).

Whats the most 'math' we need to advance for human progress?

AIiscoming··on Everybody's Lost Their Minds
"That's because finding vulnerabilities has never been the bottleneck in information security."

Thats just not true.

AIiscoming··on Everybody's Lost Their Minds
AI builds like 95% for me than i play around with it for a bit for the last 5%.

I'm still a lot faster for certain things with AI but its weird. Instead of just being annoyed about some weird bug, i'm annoyed about an LLM which can do everything and then falls over itself on weird issues.

It feels weird true but it still also relevant faster?

AIiscoming··on Economic policy for AGI
Its a name for a generation a decade wide. I really don't get your hate for it?!
AIiscoming··on Economic policy for AGI
The name of the generation gives you birth years. It also tells you "hey the generation 2010-2020 are getting hit by AI a lot more than the previous ones.

This not astrology at all. Astrology is 'magic thinking'.

AIiscoming··on Tests of the New AI Siri
I think this is good and not just whatever.

But hey perhaps i still don't understand your point properly

AIiscoming··on Towards Self-Driving Codebases
I'm playing around with ecosystem driven development (hear me out ;)):

So i want claude to build a small game for me so of course i create one big file in which i write everything then i tell claude to analyse it and grill me (grill me skill) to clarify all smaller details.

This alone might lead to really good small sfotware but I still have to push it sometimes.

Now instead of doing this, i tell claude to build a small tool which generates a dashboard and memory and which can save specs and ask me choicses (do you prefer this color over the other, what do you think about problem A? What solution would you prefer? A, b, c or something else).

This does a few things:

1. claude doesn't has to save/store everything in a context 2. claude can now talk to that tool to ask it stuff 3. claude can now use the tool as a todo list 4. claude now can more easily spin up more agents in parallel 5. i have a nice interface and i can solve issues while claude works on unblocked tasks 6. I actually can follow the progress a lot easier

The only problem with this is: with the next update, you have to reinvestigate how claude was finetuned and adjust. A few month ago /goal was really good, now you need it a lot less because claude will do something for an hour without /goal

And the spec file only started to work after November/Opus moment but it got so good, that i can pack A LOT of stuff in a half structured markdown file and let it code what I need.

The progress is still too fast for the whole ecosystem

AIiscoming··on Economic policy for AGI
You should want to read both sides and generate your own view of it.

You can't ignore signals of the frontier labs and people working there. How much you trust them and how serious you take them and how much it reflects on what you experience, is your personal analysis.

I'm playing around with fable 5.1 and Astra and its really crrazy how much better they got again now in comparison to a few month, i do trust them to a certain degree, that they are already seeing again progress internally we don't have yet.

The last update killed for sure a lot of low level/avg blender/3d artists.

AIiscoming··on Economic policy for AGI
I would also add that the internet is very young and the amount of data and news we get daily is also new and different stressful than 50 years ago.
AIiscoming··on Economic policy for AGI
you are just nitpicking.

People get used to understand what generation 'name' they got from society, thinktanks and co and its not that hard to know what the younger generations are.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation#List_of_social_gene...

Astrology is just garbage.

AIiscoming··on I Don't Like LLMs
It surprises me a little bit that we still don't have a personalized agent.

I def want to finetune my llm responses and yes sure Claude has some type of memory but its too early to just bet on one horse and while i use claude at home through claude.ai i also use claude through an api at my company.

It might start feeling better when they solve the issue of forgetting things they already got right before.

AIiscoming··on Neovim have a ~$800k Bitcoin donation sitting untouched since 2023
Ah yes my 100.000 Euros i keep in my wallet and purse. Sure lets keep comparing apples with stones.

Yes seller and buyer protection exists with cash. I pay regularly with cash in a ot of shops.

I wouldn't mind bitcoin if it would actually do the things and has any features besides gambling. And if it wouldn't add additional strain on our planet and the future of humanity.

What do you do with bitcoin? Be honest. Gambling? Do you really have most of your assets (if you have any relevant ones) in bitcoin? Yes? No fiat besides daily use?

Did you get 'rich' from the money shifting from someone else to you?

AIiscoming··on Neovim have a ~$800k Bitcoin donation sitting untouched since 2023
If russia or china has a real interest because relevant amount of people start using it, they would easyl be able to stop this.

Chinese firewall is real.

Putting fear into people with propaganda is real.

And yes i find my shadow bitcoin infrastructure not paranoid at all. It would be the first thing a state actor would do after closing everything through their state firewalls.

AIiscoming··on CCC invites all model citizens to 40C3
Im away 6h from the venue and 3h from my family.

Come on...

AIiscoming··on Neovim have a ~$800k Bitcoin donation sitting untouched since 2023
Not true.

Behind the US Dollar is a whole country and a lot more countries if not the whole world.

Behind Bitcoin are random investors, random people.

Bitcoin is also rarly traded directly it uses fiat for most. So Bitcoin is even dependend on this proof-of-stake system.

Bitcoin is a proof-of-work system dependend on the best proof-of-stake system we have.

AIiscoming··on Neovim have a ~$800k Bitcoin donation sitting untouched since 2023
What is this stupid argument?

Your 'point't doesn't make any sense at all?

AIiscoming··on Neovim have a ~$800k Bitcoin donation sitting untouched since 2023
BTC can be touched by state actors easily.

Has been proofen often enough.

State actors can just hurt your famiily. State actors can setup a shadow bitcoin infrastructure and give you the feeling that your wallet is a save bitcoin wallet. They can Hijack the website you download the initial bitcoin wallet, the nodes you talk to.
