I just went to the Explore page and picked the first repo:
https://github.com/johannesboyne/gofakes3
You have to scroll so far down to find out what the project _actually is_. I know there's an about message on the right, but it's not great.
The new UI does look more modern, but there could definitely be some improvements.
Wonder how these compare to Ngrok?

It's created by the developer of GAM - a popular tool you may have heard of, for managing G Suite.
Probably on some list now though.
Always thought it was bug, turned that straight off.
For some reason, the order of my Desktops on Mac seem to reshuffle, I can't work out what causes it or when it happens. I often have it ordered something like this:
Desktop 1 - Google Doc (Chrome)
Desktop 2 - Researching (Chrome)
Desktop 3 - Slack
Desktop 4 - Spotify
I'll do the three finger gesture moving from Desktop 1 to 2 and randomly say Spotify will have moved there. It's so annoying.
Maybe if they just offered a paid support plan, but kept the actual service itself free?
Used it for around an hour and I've already made 2,000 requests and 15% of those were blocked. Can definitely see myself going over 300,000 requests (free monthly allowance) but it's looking great so far so would be happy to support it.
Currently use AdGuard on my phone, looks like this does almost everything AdGuard does (stats, logs, blocklists) with the added benefit of the processing being done elsewhere.
I seem to be getting pretty accurate results unlike others here, not sure if it's been fixed or my peerings are better:
Tests (Download):
Cloudflare: 78, 73, 73, 73
Netflix: 74, 78, 71, 69
Google: 70, 70, 70, 65
Speedtest.net: 68, 67, 70, 71
I know this doesn't mean too much alone, but for me seemed to produce on average the highest speed.
Do sometimes get lost and wonder if I'm doing things in the most optimal way though, it's so powerful.
If I install the crx locally it works fine. No way of seeing any logs to troubleshoot, pinged a message to our reseller but that method is looking like a dead end.
The only example I can find online on deploying via URL is this:
https://support.securly.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036540753-H...
Can't see many official docs on it at all.
Now I've gone the Developer route I can see you can create internal apps without having to get them approved so think that's my best option now.
Read it could take a month plus be delayed due to COVID-19. I was pleasantly surprised.
I created a very basic Extension, to modify the new tab page (as it's something you can't set in G Suite the way we'd like it).
I wanted to deploy it our G Suite users, and saw there was an option to deploy via a URL. So I packaged it up in Chrome, put the .crx in an public S3 bucket and set it to force install.
Unfortunately it did nothing... is this not possible? Why is it even an option? Eventually ended up paying for a developer account and submitting it for approval (which was actually super fast).
Installed Snap Camera a few days ago, was on a video call and when I came off it the green camera light stayed on. Even after quitting Hangouts and Snap Camera.
I restarted and the green light persisted throughout the whole reboot. I then shutdown, and it finally turned off.
After turning it back on, the camera didn't work at all. I uninstalled Snap Camera, reset PRAM, SMC. Nothing seems to fix it. Now thinking it must be a hardware fault, but think I was on the latest update already and just seems like a strange coincidence that it happened almost immediately after I used Snap Camera for the first time.
Plus they didn't get much traction anyway, so I wrongly assumed there wasn't interest.
Know for the future now!

Honestly I'm not great at noticing sound quality differences, unless there's a huge difference. But this one seemed to affect so many people I stayed away.
It _is_ bad on macOS. It used to be one of the better platforms to stream video content to others, but now it just lacks in many areas compared to most of its competitors.
The worst bug I had was it essentially started muting random people on a call, but only for me. I could see their mouth moving, and thought it was a problem their side but turns out everyone else could hear them apart from me. I could hear everyone else too apart from them.
