I would love to play around with "botting" in some games, but I just don't even know where to begin. I tried to create super naive autoplayer years ago in C# by trying to just send keyboard keys into games, but most games didn't even receive the inputs.

One could argue that this is just a byproduct of the actual goals. If everyone is more open, then "being open should be the norm", which means that you don't care that you get targeted ads, in fact you love that advertisers can show you all the cool stuff you "care" about.

I would love to get to experience something like that, but I don't have the educational merits to even be considered by industry heavy hitters like that.

This is strange to me, I've been using computers since I can remember, but I only very late started to do anything productive with them. I've never had anything I've wanted to keep, I mean sure I now have some scripts that are valuable, but nothing old like that.

It's also so strange when co-workers talk about how their kids are not just playing games but also creating mods for their games. When I was kid I just drew pictures, played with lego and played video games.

I've never minded mornings. I mean if I woke up I can be out the door in 5 minutes and be ready for the day. At times it can be odd if I just get few hours of sleep, I can deal with a work day, but after that 6-10 hours I crash pretty hard.

I'm not suggesting that they should break encryption, but I'd like to point out again that it's pretty hard to prove that breaking encryption is necessary in "the fight against terrorism" until they can break the encryption and show us the content.

If they get to the content in other ways we are just going to say: "aha, see you don't need to break encryption after all"

This will never happen. People like to keep their jobs. At the end of the day it will be on Apple's CEO's shoulders to comply with the court ruling. If people under him refuse to do it he has no option but to fire them and find someone who will do it. Obviously Apple could refuse completely from complying with the law, but that means they have to be ready to face the penalties, which will first be fines and later jail time.

So then maybe this isn't for you, but for me it completely replaces WhatsApp and Signal on my phone and now I don't need Skype on any of my computers (Linux for work, OSX on the go, and Windows at home) and all my conversations sync between my phone and computers.
