and i believe its to supplement the recipients pantry not be a one stop shop for groceries. hey we got cereal and greenbeans this week from FoodBankXYZ. saves us from having to buy cereal and vegetables with our snap this week!
If she did get the raise they know she's been looking so she'd be the first to be cut in the future anyway.
SOMETIMES they have a legacy lane open, mostly its yellow vests (customer service?) hovering around the self checkouts. I go in grab my 2-4 items i need for lunch or dinner that evening or both...
all the tiny self checkouts are clogged with people with an entire cart full of shit and they scan one item, slowly, bag it, grab another item... it takes forever - simply because they're not familiar with the flow. These types of customers also don't know how to bag groceries ending up with 2 or 3 items per bag spread all over the floor because their cart is still full. (taking another 5 min after checkout to put back in their cart) This is where an experienced cashier excels.
the Card only / cash only lanes also suck. at least a couple of times a week someone goes there because its open and has the wrong form of payment. slowing things down even further.
I don't mind doing my own work at the up to full hand basket level. once it gets into grocery cart scale - expedite things with a human!
Granted if i turned the GPS on it could go down to as low as 24 hours depending on how often it updates.
and privately owned by some of the previous generation. we were lucky to get 1 day a week WFH during covid..
and it could just be their guilty pleasure - better than the "normal" coke
Looks to be more of a Movie filtering interface instead of a bulk media organization tool. No topics about any other kinds of media (cbr, ebooks, pdfs, images, music, adult?) appears to be in its infancy, got a long way to go to compete with plex / jellyfin or even just a well organized file structure.
no forum posts, and have to be approved by the site admin to even gain access.
sure the movie browsing experience seems well built - per the youtube video but personally i'd prefer a movie poster interface and maybe put the meta data in a details window when i hover/click on the poster. don't need the constant clutter when trying to find something.
but its all via roku/xbox rarely use the website via a browser. YT Music on phone mostly.
guess i'll get a burner phone if/when i need to leave the country.
on the logitech front i've tried all of their bluetooth multi device keyboards, the MX series is the only one that felt right. but they're heavy. (im in banking so needed the 10key version. 10key less is going to be lighter but probably not enough to want to drag it around with me)
I had some crap jobs sure, but i got the experience to move up and on. Call centers, warehouse jobs, tech support - ended up a system administrator without any class work or even any certs.
There is nothing wrong with the blue collar jobs either, they tend to make more money after 4 years experience than a recent college grad. And lots of them end up being their own boss!
but i got a couple 1000d people free credit monitoring for a year from my company...
haven't explored anything else
