Rappers are getting murdered all the time lately, assuming that's what you're referring too. It's really gotten to me this year too, especially the situation in Chicago. I'm guessing most people on HN don't know that a very popular musician was killed just two days ago.
Here's a start. It's not an advantage to have these criminals try to tell everyone what to think.
Anybody with half a brain wants to see them in jail, rather than in a position to curate our realities.
And this is yet another comment made by what I would describe as a "bad person".
Gitlab has always seemed a little clunky to me from the perspective of running a smaller operation.
It's #20 now but you can always tell when a post is doomed to oblivion by comparing the upvotes-to-time ratio to other posts on the front page. Unless the mods save it, this should be gone in a few minutes.
I don't like the ideas in most of these comments so far, but I still don't want to suppress this discussion. Let people show themselves for who they really are and what they really think, for good or bad, because we're never going to make any progress unless a discussion can actually happen.

You're right that it's not true, or at least that memo about a month prior makes a pretty persuasive case for them.
Currently it's only clear that a few prominent people in the executive branch of the US government had foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks and then later covered up the participation of high level Saudi organizers like Prince Bandar.
The public schools I went to all had a gifted program in various forms, which most years was just one hour a week and taught topics that should have been available to every student in the school. Amazingly, the teacher showed us the structure of a URL in around 1994 when I was in first grade.
It would be really useful if this could group messages by the canonical URL from where the message was sent and then be logged elsewhere. Especially if it could be extended to annotate or refer to parts of the page, so that with some further tooling you could view the log and click through directly to a particular part of site in a development environment.
Some people have prominent positions or intend to do important things in their life and they don't want to see personal conversations being leaked under the threat of blackmail.
