no, did you even visit the link?
as others mentioned, some people don't care about market share. the browsers I use day to day (Firefox, Chrome) are honestly pretty bloated and terrible, so I think others would agree that quality wise, users are starving for something better.
probably dont want to actually use that code...
their salt
No one cares.
this is good, but it would also be helpful if you supported the anti DRM movement. Some people have developed ways to get around certain DRM such was Widevine, from dumping your own CDM to Widevine proxy. Just ignoring the problem is not going to make it go away. Over the last two years DRM use for streaming content has increased significantly. If you want to really help, I would look into contributing code to these projects, or donations.
when I am forced to register on addons.mozilla.org, just to install an extension that I wrote, yes, that is a bad idea.
Give users the option to say "yes, I understand that this is not an 'approved' addon. install it anyway"
Also I physically shuddered when I saw the word template. Did no one learn from C++ mistakes?

so if you wrote yourself, too bad
where is that list?
Since Android Firefox 68, you cannot install custom extensions, unless you register on AMO. Even if you wrote the extension yourself.
Road systems should always be worked on, but when a crash happens its usually the drivers fault, except in a minority of cases where bad road engineering is to blame. this self driving is fucking up enough that it cannot be blamed on the roads anymore, if it ever could.
In the current world of forced updates (looking at you Android), the word "update" itself is kind of toxic, and doesn't (and I would argue cant) represent what has happened here, even if its technically more correct.
still some options that don't require async:
