For the last year we have been working on a website to track our reading and to explore books together. Today is a special day for me, as we are officially launching it. We have a producthunt campaign and as a regular HN-lurker I thought you might also like it.
It all started with being frustrated with Goodreads and how stale and archaic it was. We found more people with similar feelings and so we started working on an alternative.
This is how far we got: - You can collect books, save them in shelfs - You can Follow other user's activity - You can start a club, which allows users to gather and discuss books together - We built a way to import your profile from Goodreads - We have an iOS app - We put a lot of effort in keeping the design minimal and clean
We have so many more features planned and we will add more as soon as possible.
Would mean a lot to me if you gave it a try. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here.
