Yep, Starfighter was definitely the inspiration for this.

I'm definitely excited about starfighter. My first impression from the descriptive tidbits I've heard so far make it sound like a close relative to Notch/Mojang's 0x10C[1], which I was sad to see cancelled.
To be fair, we've only implemented 7 opcodes out of ~150 so far. But thanks!
