Rent-Seeking Behavior in the Global Technology Company
http://www.warplife.com/mdc/books/ethical-engineer/ After speaking with Robert and Tracy today, I emailed
them the following to explain why for many years I
flatly refused to have anything to do with agency
recruiters. That turned out to be a financial
catastrophe - but for eight good long years I was able
to experience that clean, fresh, restorative feeling
that comes from not being sodomized by supersonic
telephone poles.
Hilarity Ensues
http://www.warplife.com/jonathan-swift/books/software-proble...These last two resulted in a seventeen-page totally baseless legal manifesto being hand-delivered to my landlord the morning after Oxford Global Resources Secretary and General Counsel Robert Brown as well as his very, very expensive sidekick Tyler Paetkau got wind of it.
Hello Robert,
I wanted to let you know I received your cease and
desist letter. I agree not to communicate with anyone
other than yourselves at Oxford. I'll need to know the
name, phone number and email of Data Robotics' counsel
so that I may communicate with them. Until I am given
their counsel's contact information I'll have to keep
communicating with the folks at Data Robotics just as I
have.
As for your statement that I have been unprofessional
and that I may be subject to legal action: I hasten to
disagree. I know the law and have been very careful to
express nothing but The Gospel Truth in all of my
communications, online or off. If anyone at Data
Robotics or Oxford Global Resources is dismayed at what
I've been writing at Kuro5hin, Brian Lazara should have
considered that question before he wrongfully
terminated me, and Trisha Vavak should have considered
it before she threw me under the train to save her own skin.
Regards,
Michael D. Crawford
See, I was "unprofessional" because my essays refer to Trisha and Brian "Ignorant Mother Fuckers". "Mother" and "Fucker" are two separate words in this term because I regard the combination as far, far more obscene than "Motherfucker".After I replied to Mr. Brown I wrote another essay that I will not link because I will not speak ill of the dead.
Those two ambulance chasers had the idea that they could cross San Jose Police Department Sergeant Sousa's palm with enough silver to arrest me. This eventually led to:
"Give my regards to Sergeant Sousa."
"Sergeant Sousa doesn't work here anymore."
I once found quite a straightforward zero day that would have enabled me to plaster Goatse all over Michele Bachmann's website but it would have required that I Read The Fine Manual first. At the time I just didn't have the headspace to deal with it.Care to elucidate?
I remain stymied by Kuro5hin's unanimous opinion that "supersonic telephone poles" is evidence of some manner of mental illness on my part.
Perhaps my beloved Kuron friends are unfamiliar with Miguel Cervantes de Saavedra.
