Indeed, I hope you feel overwhelmed by the sort of guilt that only purchasing a subscription can dispel. Inspiring such feelings was my motivation for posting the link in the first place :)

Is there anything that can be done to make LWN.net look a bit nicer? There's often very good and interesting content on there - for which I'm grateful! - but the presentation really is rather a throwback to the pre-CSS days.
There's a new site design in the works; subscribers can play with it now. It improves the situation in a lot of ways, especially on small screens. But the text-centric nature of the site is not going to change.
The person posting it is the owner of the site so no need to feel guilty.
It's a great resource though so people should think about subscribing.
