"application error" ...is this site written in angularjs? If so I think we have the answer to that title! :)

It is the default Heroku error page, displays when your server crashes it has nothing to do with client side code such as AngularJS

haha if it can't host a simple blog.... then can it really scale?? ;)

I'm not sure if you're saying that blogs are simple or if you're subtly making a jab at his blog. :P

But i actually think you're on to something.... WILL IT SCALE?! Find out in next weeks episode...
