A> Online communities of 'hackers against women'? Which communities? 4chan? A community that gets millions of page hits a day with thousands of posts and various topics? Reddit? Narwhals? There are no 'hackers against women' online communities. Might as well say the entire internet is a 'hackers against women' online community.
B>"women being told that they don't deserve protection unless they stay pure and ladylike"
People in the public eye have a different set of standards to live by. People in power have a different set of standards to live by. Rich people have a different set of standards to live by.
BECAUSE THEY HAVE GREAT INFLUENCE ON PEOPLE.
Lets just assume attractive women of breeding age are desired by most every man on the planet. Obviously women have pretty strong INFLUENCE on people. So they have have a different set of BEHAVIORAL STANDARDS TO LIVE BY.
So with the privileges of being beautiful also come the negatives, just like the privileges of the rich or powerful or famous also have negatives.
A functioning society wants responsible people in positions of influence so when you see our daughters role model on the internet in a compromising position of course that person will lose protection. She will become socially sanctioned for in-acceptable behavior. It happens all the time to men as well, i.e. Mel Gibson, i.e., Michael Richards, i.e. Chris Brown....and on and on.
Modern Femininity is no longer about equality, it's now about women getting upset any time they're told they have any sort of social responsibility.
