They cite the transition to a service-based economy a good match for Agile (Which is a problem in itself). Unfortunately we don't live in that utopian vision. For example, it would be quite unreasonable for a contractor to change the design of a home in iterative cycles.

Agile is not a union. It just optimizes management in a specific direction at the expense of others.
