Since OEMs don't have to pay the M$ tax, how much more profitable is a chromebook?

Doesn't crapware more than offset the tax, making Windows "better than free"?

OTOH, Google may be giving kickbacks for Chrome OS as well.

Perhaps the NSA are giving Google kickbacks as well...

As wmf says, the motivating factor of a "M$" tax is a myth. Windows laptops come with bundled software that more than makes up for the license cost.

You hate it and I hate it, but the vast majority tolerate it.
