Clever but it annoys me when I lose my rightclick ability.
This annoys me more when the whole page swallows my right clicks. Or, when it's used on Flickr to obfuscate image URLs. This use case most likely gives the user what they were looking for, unless they wanted to inspect with Chrome/Firebug/etc...
I pretty much always right click -> "open link in new tab". I do it on logos a lot since it's common practise to link your logo to your homepage.
That said, for this case, this right click implementation seems smart.
Unrelated note. Love the clean, but playful aesthetic of the site.
