CNN will become another Fox News, leaving The New York Times as the last remaining bastion of independent reporting on what the current administration is doing.

I was worried about this at first, but it probably doesn't make business sense to try and pivot CNN's slant that way. It would alienate its current audience and damage its brand. I can't imagine many Fox News enjoyers wanting to watch CNN even if it shifts its slant more right. So what would the target audience be?

I suppose if they did it gradually enough, they could potentially normalize more right leaning viewpoints to its audience without them noticing.

Try to square Bari Weiss’ continued presence with a want for CBS to do well. Expect similar treatment for CNN.
