Speaking personally, YMMV, but I hear either name and I'm immediately skeptical.

"Interestingly" uniquely terrible person.
No wonder he values "viewpoint diversity": he's a dude who sells the public their own fear, such as with his critically panned Anxious Generation (2004). Total garbage book, just no real basis in truth, got called out by various people for how little research it had, how badly mis-interpretted the couple tidbits were, got shown other research. And he just doubled down on, 'well I think I got it right', the message is too important to let the facts get in the way response. Viewpoint diversity, regardless of truth.
Unserious buffoon, liar, dishonest, a con. Haidt is both a moron, a liar, and worse of all, someone who menaces society, drives them to fear. Which is what conservatives are: a party of of fear.
> "We regard political conservatism as an ideological belief system that is significantly (but not completely) related to motivational concerns having to do with the psychological management of uncertainty and fear." Jost, et al; https://gspp.berkeley.edu/archived/files/research/pdf/jost.g...
