There is a tiny mildly interesting story to the current link. I originally submitted the hackaday one but it got overlooked so hn gave it a second chance and when they did that it was switched to the fog bank one.
Switching to the original source is pretty understandable but it may have backfired in this case. It's currently 404 for me which might be an improvement if it was as bad as you say.
I'm not surprised that Justin Earl of Falcon Technix hasn't really advertised themselves on the page, I'm not sure I'd really want to put my full name on it either
