yet. ai videos already have plenty of soul, which is personally shocking

What is the latest SOTA examples for videos because all that I see scream AI which doesn’t mean they don’t look good but I would not say they have soul. Then again I don’t watch many videos so I might have missed new developments there. If they really work like you say, TikTok and insta and YouTube shorts are now just fake videos only?

Does anyone have any examples of AI produced videos that are meaningful/cool/interesting outside of them being produced by AI?

This one was quite an interesting story. Somehow even with their blank faces the AI was able to create a sense of trepidation or anxiety purely through body movements and I found that very impressive.

In fact the whole channel is just a poor clone of the channel Fern. Compare that video's thumbnail to one Fern made 6 months earlier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1bHK6uii7o, then take a look at the rest of their backlogs.

I did. The thumbnail may be the same but the story of the AI video is more interesting than Fern's which was just a brief overview of that particular case. I won't lie and say the AI video channels rip off human creators (Fern did a whole video about this too) but this particular video I linked was good.

It has the combined soul of humanity that supplied its training data.

Strongly disagree, they're utterly repulsive. Unfortunately they're getting harder to distinguish from the real thing.

Are they getting harder to distinguish because AI videos are finding their soul, or because non-AI videos are losing their soul?

"Content" has never been interesting even before genAI.

Finally somebody who gets it. Today the definition of Content is view-optimized, click-bait, gapping mouth YT trash. I can't stand it anymore. I want real video of real people saying real, interesting things.
