Same here, no interaction with border control people apart from them directing you to the passport reader if you look confused, although I did once have a nice chat with an older border control lady who was wondering whether it was worth getting back into IT work because they were desperate for people who still knew COBOL. Time taken to exit the aircraft and clear immigration and get to the luggage carousel is about 5 minutes, most of which is spent walking.
+1 for the US border comment, and I've been into East Germany, Russia, and similar countries. And that's not an exaggeration, the US border experience is by far the worst of any country I've ever been to.
