You're still responsible for maintenance post-AI and it's harder because now it's filtered through a slot machine.
My point was: I play Factorio for fun and it reminds of me of what programming was like before AI coding. In Factorio, all the automations you build are proper abstractions that you yourself actually designed.
Carmack's attitude is less "LLMs stick suck at code" and more "LLMs are getting better at many programming skills".
Heard that one before.
