1929 by Andrew Sorkin
It’s about the stock market crash of 1929, and done in way that leaves no stone unturned. the book could be thought of as an obsessive pursuit of financial journalism in order to truly understand every domino that fell and lead to the crash - and not just the high level story.
I’m only about a quarter of the way through, but it’s a great read!
