I've read all his series but haven't gotten to Peace one yet, and his diehard fans all seem to agree it's one of his best works. How was it, other than the tangle. (Which is my experience with all of his books tbh.)
I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would enjoy a sleepy midwestern memoir. Which it wasn't, quite. Always that Wolfe thing where you know something else is going on ...
