The difference is almost no American in HN will defend the crazy tariffs. But Europeans I have seen will go to the mat every single time explaining why Germany's economy growing a total of 7% for the 10 years between 2015-2025 isn't a problem actually. US grew almost 27% in the same time period.

This is only what I have noticed as someone from a continent that is not North American or Europe. The Europeans don't seem to see a problem with their stagnation.
