I don't get it, it's simply unsubstantiated. In his talks he literally starts with an explanation that UX is not about looks, and suggests some experimental concepts.

I feel like most HN commenters hold really strong opinions about how their particular preference is superior and come into UI discussions to rant about it instead of actually discussing UI design.
