So, just as a curiosity, why don't you create a $5/month VPS or something even cheaper, throw nginx/apache/caddy on there, make it fetch from a git repository once a minute or whatever, then call it a day? What does the service need to provide for it to be worth paying so much more for?
This $5/month VPS can effectively handle hosting 100s of static websites for you without breaking a sweat, unless you're doing something seriously wrong.
