Wdym "chasing the latest TPB"? Isn't 1337x and others better and offer a complete alternative?

Twitter is different there's many stories that are only there.

The best way is always private trackers. They're easy to get into, easy to keep (if you're a serious and honest person), malware free, high quality content, great community, etc.

If they were easy to get into, they wouldn't be good

It's as easy as buying 1 month of seedbox for around 10 bucks.

Buying a seedbox doesn't get you into a private tracker. It's a download client.

mid tier trackers partner with seedbox providers who give them kickbacks for referrals, in exchange for an account

So. Easy to get into is: "some unspecified mid-tier trackers may or may not give out accounts to some unspecified seedbox providers".

It's probably easier to lurk in r/trackerinvites (or whatever it's called) hoping to snatch an invite

I think it's much easier to pay 12 bucks for a month of seedbox that includes an invite to TL, than to hit F5 on /r/OpenSignups for months/years until they open registration.

Yes, it's probably easier. My quick search revealed no such seedboxes.

Go to TL, hit the big button in the center that says "sign up promo".

For those wondering, TL is Torrentleech

Yep it's not easy. Easy was a lie. The best are actually curated public trackers. TPB is not curated.

Sadly, curated public ones are also harder and harder to find (for obvious reasons) :(

Rutracker's a good one.

It's amazing how it held up over 20-ish years. You'd think it would only get worse after removing mandatory registration 10 or so years ago. And yet...

Well, you need an account to search.

Switching torrent sites every time one gets taken down.

But why wouldn't you?
