I’m more exhausted at hearing about how sick of LLM writing people are. Just don’t read it, save everyone time.
Ok, tell me then how exactly can I "not read it" when it's NOT disclosed?
The subject interests me so I'm beginning to read, only to waste minutes of my precious life on realising this is another long-winded slop. How should I avoid that?
The same way you avoid a too-long article in the New Yorker.
"Too long" is a property visible from the very start.
"written by an LLM" is not.
Any better advice?
Read the first few sentences. If you don't like it, stop reading. Stop being concerned about the provenance. In a year, you won't be able to tell that AI wrote it.
