Unsurprising.

I’m convinced many of the highly energetic opposition movements is foreign-born. Particularly those that are relatively spontaneous and nonsensically partisan.

Idk about "foreign born movements", but the more nonsensical and extreme the group's demands the more likely it is they've been signal boosted by foreign actors. Political gridlock and endless polarising rethoric is the goal.

Agreed. The people with the 24/7 60dB hum or the black undrinkable tap water or the tripled electric bill or no electricity at all starting next year are surely just mad because China told them to be mad.
