There was a massive spike of RAM prices from 2016 to 2018 followed by a price crash in 2019...

But if we learn anything from big corporations, they'll keep the difference as profits. IOW, Apple won't be lowering their prices.

Nope. Apple wants to maximize profits. They clearly make more at lower prices. Source: the fact that they had lower prices until they were forced to increase them. They will be hoping to return to a more optimal price point as soon as they can.

And when they don't, copium will suggest that it is due to market conditions.
