I don't think installing this kind of system at home is a good idea, especially considering the risk of fire. The amount of energy contained in a 5 kWh lithium battery is terrifing.
Many are in use all over the world in off-grid cabins and similar.
You do need to take care that they are installed correctly, and maintained properly, but that isn't much different than a natural gas connection, or even normal everyday electricity.
