I'd expect to see the first signs of results in a couple years. For example, how many companies from the first batch are still around?
not many, I'm afraid - but a few of them are making good progress: Babelverse, WeHostels, Taggify and SaferTaxi
(most of them not due to Startup Chile anyway, but still...)
My company participated in the pilot round. Last I heard from Nate (Entrustet and Welcu), 23% of our cohort were profitable and bootstrapping, 32% had taken further investment, and only 14% had failed.
