This is cool. I would totally use this if I had a SoundTouch speaker. My mother has one at home – unfortunately there's no way to run a local server.
Annoying design choice by Bose, that the speaker even needs a server for the presets. I don't see why it couldn't just save a URL for each preset. Press the button and it starts streaming from that URL.
Edit: Seems like a workaround for that is already in the works :)
