I’ve got a MagSafe nightstand and powerbank that both leave the port free. I do use Bluetooth for audio so I don’t actually ever use the USB-C port at all.

When a manufacturer deliberately creates a perpetual pain in the ass with anti-consumer actions such as deleting the headphone jacks from media-centric devices, it should be no surprise that self-respecting consumers will condemn that move.
